Pakistan's AI capability is ours to build together. PDA lays the rails and the industry builds on them.
Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA) hosted JazzWorld and Musavir.AI at the PDA Headquarters for a meeting with Dr. Sohail Munir, Chairperson, PDA. The delegation was led by Hamza Khokhar, Chief AI Officer, JazzWorld, and included Farhan Javed and Arslan Javed, Directors, Musavir.ai.
Dr. Sohail briefed the delegation on the Authority's mandate and on the Digital Nation Pakistan initiative, emphasizing the role of artificial intelligence in strengthening Digital Public Infrastructure, improving public service delivery and building a domestic innovation ecosystem.
The meeting covered Pakistan's AI landscape and emerging technologies, and explored potential areas of collaboration between PDA, JazzWorld and Musavir.ai on applied AI. Discussions also focused on where the public and private sectors can work together on responsible AI adoption, local talent development and sustainable digital growth.
Dr. Sohail reaffirmed PDA's commitment to working closely with leading technology experts and industry partners to shape the country's digital future. Meaningful collaboration will help position Pakistan at the forefront of digital transformation and deliver lasting value for citizens.
Pakistan's AI industry will not emerge through policy alone. Achieving scale requires a shared vision and national coordination, so that Pakistan's AI ecosystem can grow with both ambition and purpose.
