PDA Hosts Capt. (Retd.) Muhammad Asif, Managing Director of the Printing Corporation of Pakistan
The Digital Gazette of Pakistan is bringing the nation's official record online.
The Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA) hosted Capt. (Retd.) Muhammad Asif, Managing Director of the Printing Corporation of Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited (PCP), to review progress on the Digital Gazette of Pakistan.
The Gazette is the government's official record of laws, notifications and appointments. Bringing it online creates a searchable, accessible platform that puts official records within easy reach of the people who rely on them.
The discussion focused on advancing the digitisation of Gazette records, strengthening the collaboration between the two organisations, and finalising the implementation roadmap. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to a modern Digital Gazette that improves public access and supports transparent digital governance.
The meeting closed with an agreement to accelerate technical coordination and move to the next phase of implementation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Law and Justice. Digitising the Gazette is a meaningful step in Pakistan's move toward accessible digital governance.
